Astrology App Must Have

So this may come as a shock to you, but I actually rarely, if ever, read my daily horoscope.  <GASP>  I know sounds pretty crazy considering I write about it all the time.  I do however look at the month or the year to see where the planets are as in reference to when good times or troubled waters are ahead.  If you are looking for some good blogs that offer that, you may reference to my "Favorite Reads" to your right.  So this app is not going to tell you how your day is going to be.  In my opinion it's even better.

My favorite app that I think every astrology buff should have is skyguide.  It is AWESOME.  You are able to really understand where everything in the heavens is on the current day, and it is interactive.  Call me crazy, but I actually like the music too.

I live in the downtown area of a city, so the stars aren't too easy to spot all of the time.  But with this app  you can view the stars clearly day or night.  I spent an hour the other night laying in bed just looking around to see where everything was, and actually learned a few new things too.  For example; I learned that the brightest star named Antares in my Sun Sign Scorpio is the 15th brightest star in the sky.  There is a search as well so you can find your sign with ease.

That's all for today, but check back in tomorrow, because I have a really great guest post you are going to want to check out.
